    No, I never got to hear the 601. I have a pretty good idea in my head of what it might sound like though, as its elements are similar to those of the Lansing Iconic with which I am familiar. My guess is that the 601 might offer superior imaging to the Iconic due to the point source geometry, but lack quite a bit in midrange definition and body due to the much smaller high frequency horn and higher (1200 vs. 800Hz.) crossover point.
